...Rain Chances will Increase for the Later Part of the Week...

Rain showers and isolated thunderstorms will spread over extreme southeast Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks by Wednesday. These rainy conditions will continue through the end of the week. A very slow moving upper low pressure system that will track across eastern Kansas is the main cause for the showery forecast. Additional rain chances exist this weekend as a weak cold front approaches from the north.

Rain chances to increase by the 2nd half of the week.
