Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice To Give Commencement Address at Boston College and Receive Honorary DegreeSecretary of State Condoleezza Rice will receive an honorary degree and deliver the 130th Commencement Address at Boston College at 9:45 a.m. on Monday, May 22, 2006. Secretary Rice is one of four individuals receiving honorary degrees at this year's ceremony. The commencement will be held at Alumni Stadium, and in the case of rain at Conte Forum, on the Boston College Campus. The procession into the Alumni Stadium and the commencement program are open for press coverage.

Order of Events:
9:45 a.m. VIP Procession into stadium begins. 10:00 a.m. Commencement begins. 10:30 a.m. Address to the Graduates by Secretary of State Rice. 11:45 a.m. Commencement concludes.
Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of the following: a media-issued photo identification card or a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist accompanied by official photo identification (driver’s license or passport).
