When meeting with a prospective EN for the first time, please bring
these items to make your visit as productive as possible.
If you don't have some of these items, don't worry — your EN will help you.
- School records or relevant education records;
- Work History (wages/salary, dates and time period) — this can include volunteer work, internships, and part-time jobs;
- Resumé (if you have one);
- Reference letters (both professional and personal);
- List of work goals or ideas about the kind of work you are interested in — include the jobs or places of work that interest you;
- Benefits history (include types of benefits you are receiving); and
- If working, your current employer's contact information.
This is a general checklist. You may need more or less
information depending on your individual goals and requested services.
