Michael Connelly
Michael Connelly decided to become a writer after discovering the books of Raymond Chandler while attending the University of Florida. He was a crime reporter for several newspapers before writing his first novel in 1992. He has written more than ten books and has won several awards for his writing, including the Edgar, the Anthony, and the Macavity. His most recent books are Lost Light (Little Brown, 2003) in the Hieronymus Bosch series and Chasing the Dime (Warner, 2003), his standalone thriller. He lives in Florida.
