There was a significant increase in the percentage of children and young adults under 21 with public dental coverage only from 1996 to 2006. —From Statistical Brief 221: Dental Coverage of Children and Young Adults under Age 21, United States, 1996 and 2006

New Data Files
Three new event-level public use data files drawn from the 2006 Medical Expenditure Panel Survey have been released: HC-102H 2006 Home Health, HC-102C 2006 Other Medical Expenses, and HC-102B 2006 Dental Visits.

MEPS + HCUP Workshop Registration is now closed.
Registration is now closed for MEPS and HCUP data users workshop featuring introductory lectures, programming exercises, and hands-on computer lab. The workshop will take place September 24-25, 2008, at the AHRQ Data Center, Rockville, Maryland. If you would like to placed on a waiting list, please send an email to workshopinfo@ahrq.hhs.gov.
