Theater for a Change Takes the Fight Against Intolerance to the Streets

On April 30, the Theater for a Change, a USAID-supported partner implementing the Value of Tolerance Program, sponsored an event to celebrate "the Colors of Nizhniy." Thirty-five students participated in a street action to paint out fifteen hate messages that had been written on buildings and walls in the city. A follow-up event will take place on June 1 in which children from a nearby orphanage will work alongside students to decorate a newly painted wall.
