Description
The Academy for Health Services Research and Health Policy was established in June 2000 as the result of a merger between the Alpha Center and the Association for Health Services Research. The Academy is advancing and supporting the fields of health services research and policy through the transfer of relevant information between and across the research and policy arenas. The Academy is the information resource for a wide range of health care professionals. As the professional society for more than 3,000 individuals and over 100 affiliated organizations through the US and abroad, the Academy aids researchers, policy leaders and health care decision-makers in accessing information that will help them understand the latest developments in both field experience and research findings.
