Mission statement:

The University of Minnesota Department of OB-Gyn and Fairview-University Medical Center’s Women’s Health Center are committed to delivering medical care that combines excellence, service and compassion with innovative research and educational programs. Examples of collaborative work include developing a network of all women’s health services across disciplines and institutions, so that physicians can easily access the most appropriate treatment for patients, developing culturally sensitive women’s health care best practices to use across the state, working with community partners to find out the most efficient ways of providing patient education, and making the university’s cutting edge women’s health research available more widely to all Minnesota women.
