What is the difference between vacancy-specific questions and KSAs?

Vacancy-specific questions are used to screen applicants on specific knowledge relevant to the vacancy posting. While applying online, you will encounter a variety of question formats such as multiple choice, true/false, multiple answer/multiple choice, and short and long narrative explanations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) are more narrative in nature and allow a free format for applicants to describe their expertise, based upon each competency specific to the vacancy.
