The "Check Your Information and Benefits" service allows people who receive Social Security benefits to access information about their benefits, Medicare entitlement, direct deposit and overpayments.

This service is available online or through our automated telephone services.

To use this service, you must have a password. You can request a password online or through our automated telephone services.

To use our automated telephone service to check your information or request a password, you can call toll-free 1-800-773-1213 seven days a week, 24 hours a day. You will be asked to provide your name, address, telephone number and date and place of birth to get a password.
