Access to Health Care



Access to timely medically necessary health services is not a guarantee for every Oregonian. Lack of health insurance, health care provider shortages, cultural and linguistic barriers as well as a myriad of other impediments prevent people from getting the care they need when they need it. Lack of access leads to negative health outcomes and increases the cost of health care for every Oregonian.
