An overview

The Office of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OMHAS) has compiled information and links to assist consumers in becoming informed about mental health disorders and to assist consumers in becoming healthy, safe and independent individuals. The information will also assist policy makers and providers to work toward further education, share and expand current treatment efforts, and assist consumers in everyday needs.


Consumers and families – The consumers and families section will assist consumers and advocates to link up with other consumers and programs in Oregon and the United States for up-to-date treatment information.

Housing – The housing section provides direct links for consumers and advocates in locating affordable housing in Oregon.

Laws and rules – The laws and rules section provides direct links to Oregon Administrative Rules on Mental Health.

Program contacts – The contact lists provide local phone numbers to locate mental health treatment facilities.

Publications and reports - Current and archived publications and reports from OMHAS can be located in this section.

Research and data – This section is a compilation of research data and online queries providing outcomes and aggregate data to local level providers.

Tools for policy makers – The tools for policy makers section assists state and county level staff with reports and minutes from Governor appointed task forces, MHO Contractors meetings, and various work groups.

Tools for providers – The tools for providers section will assist local level providers with upcoming training events, appropriate mental health forms, and to locate information to assist consumers in everyday needs.

Services – The services section will assist family members and consumers with information on client rights, available services, and Oregon Health Plan (OHP) mental health information.
