New Classrooms for Students in Burkina Faso

The Special Self-Help Program (SSH), considered to be one of the most effective assistance programs in Sub-Saharan Africa, makes it possible for an Ambassador to respond quickly to requests by local communities, benefiting them with funding for small-scale, quick-implementation projects for which there would be no room within one of the larger, more structured assistance programs.

Through the SSH Program, new classrooms (photo at right) for 52 children in Kada, Burkina Faso were constructed.
