North Korea: Disablement Costs (Taken Question)Question: How much has the U.S. spent on disablement of the Yongbyon facility?
Answer: The Department of State’s Nonproliferation and Disarmament Fund (NDF) is currently funding disablement measures at the DPRK’s Yongbyon Nuclear Facility. NDF has $20 million in available funds and has obligated approximately $19.5 million for disablement measures there.
