Record Heat Returns
October 23, 2003 - Record warmth
spread across west and central Wyoming for a second straight week (record
highs Oct 8-9). A strong ridge of high pressure anchored over
the Rocky Mountains resulted in seven consecutive days of record high
temperatures from October 17-23. Lander's high temperature of
82 on the 21st also set a new record high temperature so late in the
autumn season.
