Description

The American Society for Reproductive Medicine, formerly the American Fertility Society, was founded in 1944 as the American Society for the Study of Sterility. Its objective is to disseminate clinical and scientific knowledge relating to fertility, sterility, conception control, reproductive biology, and relevant endocrinology. Publications, annual meetings, and postgraduate courses are the means by which this objective is met. The Society provides resource information to the general public.

The Society publishes pamphlets on such subjects as infertility, artificial insemination, and ethical issues. Serial publication: Fertility and Sterility (journal), monthly--articles on research developments and clinical findings.
