Description

The American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), formerly the American Podiatry Association, was founded in 1912 to improve the quality of foot care in the United States, to attract young people to the profession, and to increase understanding of the profession. It publishes a monthly scientific journal, a monthly magazine, as well as informative brochures. APMA encourages continuing education. It participates in national and community health medicine.
