Arthritis State Program

CDC’s Arthritis Program have been funding Arthritis Programs at state health departments since 1999. Currently, 36 state health departments receive CDC arthritis funding.

Autism Information Center - State Activities

CDC funds projects on autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) in several states.  These projects track the number of children who have an ASD, conduct studies to find out what factors make it more likely that a child will have an ASD, and offer education and outreach programs for researchers, families, and other people affected by ASD.

Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS): Participating PRAMS States

PRAMS, the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System, is a surveillance project of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state health departments. PRAMS collects state-specific, population-based data on maternal attitudes and experiences before, during, and shortly after pregnancy.
