BioPreferred is a Federal program that aims to increase the purchase and use of biobased products. Biobased products are made from biological or renewable agricultural materials like plant, animal, marine or forestry ingredients.
Examples of biobased products for commercial, industrial or consumer use include: building materials, lubricants, bioplastics, and cleaning products.

This "spray-in-place" plastic foam product manufactured from soy and other vegetable polyols provides a sealed thermal barrier
when used in residential or commercial construction applications.
This product is used to insulate walls
and roofs, or to seal around doors, windows,
and other gaps and cracks.
