Iowa Central Community College in partnership with Loring Hospital, Sac City, Iowa, will construct a facility to provide higher education opportunities to residents of Sac County, Iowa, as well as increase the availability of quality health care in the county. The RUS grant will provide funds to equip an educational classroom operated by the College to be built within Loring Hospital. Although the project will be primarily for distance learning some of the equipment will also accommodate telemedicine applications as they become viable.
