Partner Profile Royal Gate Dodge is one of the Midwest's largest volume Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep dealers. The company has three locations: Ellisville, MO; Moscow Mills, MO; and Columbia, IL. Royal Gate's green power purchase will avoid nearly 100 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year, equivalent to the annual greenhouse gas emissions of more than 17 passenger vehicles. Royal Gate decided to begin purchasing green power in order to set the example for its industry and challenge other dealers to follow the company's commitment to a brighter future by eliminating greenhouse gases and reducing their dependence on oil. General Manager Chris Shanks says, "Royal Gate Dodge Chrysler Jeep's environmental objectives are entirely in line with the new Chrysler Company's "Green Halo" initiative—a joint marketing and sales initiative between Chrysler LLC, participating Chrysler Dealers in eastern Missouri, and green power providers that targets and serves today's energy- and fuels-conscientious consumer."
