Partner Profile As a founding EPA Green Power Partner and 2003 Partner of the Year, the City of Portland, Oregon recognizes the importance of investing in green power to keep the air and water clean and to preserve the quality of life for its residents. In 2003, the city met it's short term goal of ten percent new renewable power. As of spring 2006, Portland is negotiating a 15 average megawatt Power Purchase Agreement for new wind resource to serve 100 percent of Portland's municipal electricity purchases. |
