Partner Profile Bend Metro Park and Recreation District maintains and operates more than 2,000 acres of developed and undeveloped parkland. That includes 71 parks/open spaces and 48 miles of trail. The District is dedicated to environmental sustainability by making decisions that help protect, maintain and preserve its natural and developed resources. As part of this effort the District purchases renewable energy certificates for its operations.
