Lewis' Educational & Research Collaborative Internship Project: High School Project

[Students Grades 10-11]
[Available: OH]

This educational project provides a summer opportunity for current 10th- and 11th-grade students who will be juniors and seniors in the upcoming school year and are interested in science, technology, engineering, math and professional administration. Students are awarded eight-week paid internships. Each intern is under the guidance of a Glenn Research Center scientist, engineer, technician or administrative professional who serves as the student's mentor. The Lewis' Educational & Research Collaborative Internship Project, or LERCIP, informs the student of possible career choices available at NASA. Activities include oral presentations and a variety of enrichment opportunities.
