Engineering/Science Career Nights

[Students Grades 6-12]
[Available: CA]

The Engineering/Science Career Nights project is designed for middle school and high school students who have done the following:

--Expressed an interest in engineering or science.
--Would like to get a closer look at work done by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory engineers and scientists.
--Would like to gain a better understanding of what engineering and science are about.

Boys and girls are encouraged to attend with their parents. Students participate in engineering activities and presentations led by JPL engineers and scientists while parents are invited to a 90-minute workshop held by JPL education specialists. The evening culminates in a panel discussion and question and answer session with practicing JPL engineers and scientists.

For this specific event, JPL families and friends, and the communities in which their children attend school, are invited. Because of limited space, e-mail registration is required and seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
