SIAL MERCOSUR (Buenos Aires, Argentina, September 16-18, 2008)

This USDA-endorsed event offers an excellent opportunity to introduce your products to the Argentina market and other Mercosur countries as well: Brazil, Chile, Peru, Paraguay and Uruguay. One of the largest trade food shows in South America, SIAL MERCOSUR in 2007 had more than 550 exhibitors, from 20 countries and attracted more than 25,000 trade visitors. World Food Moscow (Moscow, Russia -- September 23-26, 2008)

World Food Moscow is the largest international show and conference for importers, wholesalers, retailers, and food processors in Russia. This event offers an excellent opportunity to introduce U.S. food products in Russia, one of the world’s fastest growing markets. Last year, this 4-day event drew over 1,320 exhibitors from 53 countries and attracted more than 53,000 importers, wholesalers, retailers, and processors from all parts of Russia and from many neighboring countries. Food Ingredients (Fi) Asia -- Bangkok, Thailand (September 24-26, 2008)

Recognized at the top meeting place for food ingredient suppliers, Fi Asia 2007 welcomed over 200 exhibitors from 54 countries and attracted 7,271 visitors. Returning to Bangkok in 2008, this USDA-endorsed event attracts food professionals from the entire Southeast Asia region.   SIAL Paris , France  (October 19-23, 2008)

Held biennially in Paris , France , SIAL Paris is one of the largest food shows in the world. It attracts importers and distributors not only from the European Union but also from the rest of Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia . SIAL Paris 2006 welcomed 5,256 exhibitors from five continents and attracted over 140,000 trade visitors and 1,400 journalists from 58 countries.   Health Ingredients Europe -- Paris, France (Nov. 4-6, 2008)

Health Ingredients Europe (HiE) alternates with Food Ingredients Europe (FiE) in various European cities. HiE 2008 is going to be the focus for sellers and buyers of all kinds of health ingredients, from nutraceuticals to cosmoceuticals and from organic constituents to complex functional foodstuffs. HiE 2006 welcomed over 440 exhibitors and attracted more than 9,000 attendees. Shanghai, China.

IFE India (December 2-4, 2008)

IFE India is one of the leading B2B international food and drink trade shows in India. In 2007, 202 exhibitors from 19 countries and around 6,900 business visitors (more than 80% from HRI, retail, wholesale and importer sectors) attended IFE India 2007.

The best prospects are almonds, fresh fruits (apples, grapes, and pears), prunes, pistachios, wine, snack foods, fruit juices, sauces, spreads, salad dressings, condiments, pulses, etc. India’s food and beverage industry is growing at a rate of 9% per annum.    SIRHA (Lyon, France -- January 24-28, 2009)

SIRHA is the leading international forum for the foodservice sector in Europe. Held biennially in Lyon, France, SIRHA 2007 attracted approximately 133,000 decision makers and welcomed over 1,985 exhibitors. Fruit Logsitica (Berlin Germany --February 4-6, 2009)

Fruit Logistica is the largest international trade show in the world for fresh produce, dried fruits, and tree nuts. BioFach (Nuremberg, Germany – February 19-22, 2009)

Gulfood 2009 (February 23-26, 2009)

Held annually, Gulfood 2009 is the largest food and food equipment show trade event held in Dubai, United Emirates. Strategically located, Dubai is the gateway to markets in the Middle East, Iraq, Iran, East Africa and the Indian subcontinent (approximately two billion potential customers). The best prospects are almonds (shelled), beef, poultry meat, snacks foods, fresh apples and pears, edible oils, cheeses, fruit and vegetable juices, condiments and sauces, breakfast cereals, confectionary products, frozen vegetables, pulses, planting seeds, sweeteners, beverage bases and pet foods. International Food & Drink Exhibition (IFE London – March 15-18, 2009)

IFE, held biennially, is the United Kingdom’s largest international food and drink exhibition. More than 24,000 visitors attended IFE London 2007 representing every sector of the food and drink industry including food and drink manufacturers, retailers, catering, wholesaler and distributors, and goods and services. The U.S. Department of Agriculture will once again partner with show management to organize a USA Pavilion complete with a selection of booth packages, a business lounge, and the camaraderie and synergy that a USA Pavilion brings. American Cafe at Food & Hotel Indonesia (Jakarta, Indonesia -- April 15-18, 2009)
