Produce a Video or PSA's

The "12-Step" Program for Video Production:

1) Consultation with BMTC (no charge) to discuss - background, content, timeline, resources, available funding, audience and method of distribution.

2) BMTC provides budget based on initial meeting

3) BMTC/Agency meeting (with writer if needed) to gather pertinent information and source (research) materials in order to begin a draft outline

4) Outline with themes and video concept presented to agency with suggested field sites and interview subjects

5) Field shoot/interviews set up in accordance with draft/field script and planned with agency oversight and resources for logistics

6) Field shoot/interviews

7) Final script based on field shoots and interviews

8) Agency review and comments

9) Editing of video incorporating comments

10) Review of rough cut (comments/changes)

11) Final edit

12) Review and prep for distribution

The above process - concept meeting to distribution - can vary depending on length of video, and availability of resources for field shoot and interviews. The review process is also critical based on who and how many individuals are in the review process. The distribution process should also be a major factor in the planning of the video.
