- During fiscal years 1985-1999, U.S. wine exports have
increased every year. The outlook for fiscal year 2000
(FY00) is positive for U.S. wine exports, totaling 16
consecutive years of increases. U.S. wine exports
(including cider, fermented beverages, and must) for FY00
are projected to reach $585 million, up 7 percent from
FY99. The United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, and the
Netherlands are the top four export markets.
