Beef, Pork, and Poultry Trade Update

Total U.S. exports of red meat and poultry increased another 8 percent in the second quarter of 2000 due to continued strong demand in foreign markets, especially in Korea. Compared to last year's second quarter, U.S. beef exports increased 11 percent, pork exports increased 4 percent, and poultry exports increased 8 percent.
