Beef, Pork, and Poultry Trade Update: 1st Quarter 2000 Trade Performance
First quarter estimates for U.S. meat have increased due to continued strong demand in foreign markets. Compared to last year's first quarter, beef estimates increased 16 percent, pork estimates increased 22 percent, and poultry estimates increased 30 percent.
