On this page Tularemia is a bacterial disease associated with both animals and man. Although many wild and domestic animals have been infected, the rabbit is most often involved in disease outbreaks.

Disease reporting

Health care providers and clinical laboratories are required to report cases and suspect cases of Tularemia to local health departments within one working day of identification.
