Intermediary Support for Ecological Protection and Restoration Projects - Request for Application Packages

Under this Request for Applications, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (U.S. EPA's) Great Lakes National Program Office (GLNPO) is requesting Great Lakes application packages, including proposal narratives and all application materials, for one award which will support a sub-award program in coordination with federal agencies, foundations, and corporations, to implement ecological protection and restoration activities throughout the Great Lakes basin.

GLNPO anticipates that a total of approximately $3,000,000 in federal funds will be awarded incrementally over a five year period. GLNPO anticipates selecting only one Applicant for an award.

Leveraging will be considered as one of the criteria in Section V of this announcement. For informational purposes only: Note that although a match/cost share is not required, the Applicant selected for a similar award in 2003 provided approximately a 50% match/cost share.

Deadline for Receipt of Application Packages: May 21, 2008 - Submissions must be received by EPA or electronically through Grants.Gov by 4:30 p.m. Central Standard Time. - CLOSED

Application Information: Applicants may submit applications by either of two methods: (i) paper submission (go to Section IV.2 Instructions for hard copy submissions of the Request for Application Packages) OR (ii) submission through grants.gov. Information about both methods is described in Section IV of the Request for Applications.
