The Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is the central administrative agency of state government.
 
DAS works to effectively implement policy and financial decisions made by the Governor and the Oregon Legislature. This agency also sets and monitors high standards of accountability, ensuring that tax dollars are used productively. To fulfill its mission, DAS works to support state agencies by providing a strong and stable management infrastructure. As part of this effort, DAS partners with private enterprise, citizens, and other government entities in developing an efficient service delivery system.
 
Divisions Description of Responsibilities
Budget & Management Responsible for developing Governor's Recommended Budget; Assists executive branch agencies in their budget development 
Director's Office Manages all executive branch agencies; provides governmental and external communications; conducts internal audits; coordinates legislative activities and creates tools and processes to manage for results
Enterprise Information Strategy and Policy Division Responsible for enterprise IT strategic planning and policy, business continuity planning, e-government, geospatial information, and information security
Facilities Acquires and maintains leased and owned properties for state government 
Human Resource Services Oversees state agencies employee human resources; assists prospective employees through the state's hiring process
Operations Division Provides DAS employees support services including business administration, personnel, and information technology support
State Data Center Delivers the state’s computing and networking infrastructure services
State Services Division Provides centralized services to state government including motor pool, purchasing ,and surplus services; manages state's self-insurance and risk control
State Controller's Division Manages and oversees state's accounting and financial records
Offices Description of Responsibilities
Office of Economic Analysis Provides accurate and objective forecasts of Oregon's economy, revenue, population, corrections population, and Oregon Youth Authority population
Boards Description of Responsibilities
Oregon Progress Board Serves as an independent state planning and oversight agency
Oregon Educators Benefit Board Oversees benefits for employees of Oregon's K-12 school districts and education service districts.
Public Employees' Benefit Board Oversees health, dental, and other benefits for state employees and their dependents
