Former football players keep Rice's water flowing
With Hurricane Ike wreaking havoc on Houston, Rice was forced to rely on its emergency water supply. The tricky part was getting to it. Needing to replace a motor that pumps water from its alternative source, the school found two former Rice football players with a 2,500-pound solution.
