HPP SUPERVISORY COUNCIL
The Oregon Law establishing HPP designated there would be a five-member Supervisory Council, appointed by the Oregon Medical Board, for the purpose of developing and implementing a diversion program for chemically dependent licensees regulated by OMB. No current Board member or Board staff person may serve on the Council.
 
The term of office of each member is two years. A member is eligible for reappointment and serves at the pleasure of the OMB.
 
The HPP Supervisory Council oversees the functions of the program and provides clinical consultation. Members of the Council must be citizens of the state and be familiar with the recognition, intervention, assessment and treatment of chemically dependent persons.
