For purposes of confidentiality, the HPP offices are housed separately (about 10 miles south of Portland) from the OBME. HPP offices are located near the intersection of I-5 and Hwy. 217 and are easily accessed by major travel routes.
From the airport area:
Leaving the airport area, connect with I-205 southbound and connect with I-84, westbound, towards Portland city center. Be sure to follow the signs directing towards Portland (continuing on I-205 south will connect you with I-5 eventually, but you will be a long ways south of where you need to be to come to HPP office!). Once on I-84, maneuver to the left lane -- there's plenty of time to do this.
Approaching the city center, follow the signs directing you towards I-5 south (the left hand lane). The left lane is a rather sharp curve to left and straightens out as you connect with I-5, connecting with the right-hand lane of I-5. Continue in this lane and then follow the signs directing you to I-5 south/Salem.
Continue on I-5 and take exit 293, Haines Street (about 9 miles south of Portland just after the Tigard/Newberg/Hwy. 99 exit). At the 4-way stop, turn left onto 68th Street; continue on 68th about one-fourth mile to another 4-way stop (Hampton). Turn right on Hampton, and the Hampton Square Building will be the first building on the left (6950). The HPP office is located in suite 130.
From the north - I-5 southbound from Portland:
Take exit 293, Haines Street (about 9 miles south of Portland just after the Tigard/Newberg/Hwy. 99 exit). At the 4-way stop, turn left onto 68th Street; continue on 68th about a one fourth mile to another 4-way stop (Hampton). Turn right on Hampton, and the Hampton Square Building will be the first building on the left (6950). The HPP office is located in suite 130.
From the south - I-5 northbound towards Portland:
Take exit 292B (72nd Avenue Exit) from I-5 and remain in the right lane. This exit will clover leaf and connect to Hwy. 217. At the stoplight, turn right onto Hwy. 217, crossing back over I-5. Remain in the right lane which becomes an "exit only" lane (72nd Avenue Exit), and take this exit. At 72nd Avenue, turn right, and turn right again immediately onto Hampton Street. Continue on Hampton about two blocks, and the Hampton Square Building will be on the right (6950). The HPP office is located in suite 130.
From Lake Oswego/Lake Grove area:
Driving from the Lake Oswego/Lake Grove area towards Tigard, Kruse Way becomes Hwy. 217. Shortly after crossing I-5 the right lane becomes an "exit only" lane, exiting to 72nd Avenue. Take this exit and turn right onto 72nd and turn right again immediately onto Hampton Street. Continue on Hampton about two blocks, and the Hampton Square Building will be on the right (6950). The HPP office is located in suite 130.
From the north on Hwy. 217:
Driving south on Hwy. 217 from the Beaverton area, take the 72nd Avenue exit off 217 -- just beyond the Tigard exit but before intersecting with I-5. Turn right onto 72nd Avenue, crossing the overpass over 217. Turn right on Hampton Street which will be the second stoplight on the other side of the overpass. Continue on Hampton about two blocks, and the Hampton Square Building will be on the right (6950). The HPP office is located in suite 130.
