Communications & Applications Group

Scientists and communication staff at the Station are reaching out to more people than ever before. Our goal is to explain what we are learning and describe how information is relevant, particularly to people who make and influence decisions about land management.

The Station's audiences include the scientific community, federal and state land managers, private land managers, Congressional delegations, state and local policymakers, tribal governments, nonprofit groups, and interested individuals. We also are reaching out to children--elementary students, high school students, and city kids unfamiliar with federal lands and natural resources.
