Employment status of Vietnam-era veterans

Veterans whose tour of duty was in Southeast Asia, and those who incurred service-connected disabilities, continued to be at a disadvantage in the labor market. Other veterans fared no worse than did nonveterans. This article examines the employment status of Vietnam-era veterans as of November 1987.
