August 26, 1899 - Most violent electrical storm and heaviest rainfall on unofficial record, 4.78".
December 1901 - Mr J A Price assisted as cooperative observer
May 6, 1902 - Violent thunderstorm, considerable damage, at 4:45pm.
June 28-30, 1902 - Significant loss of crops from heavy rains.
June 1904 - Some observations taken by Earl E Ramsey.
January 19, 1907 - High wind damage, rain gauge blown over
May 25 and 28, 1908 - Thunderstorms with heavy damage. Observer was Mr O E Mohler.
June 16, 1908 - Light frost
June 21, 1908 - Thunderstorm damage
July 13, 1908 - Very destructive thunderstorm
August 13, 1908 - Very destructive thunderstorm
September 3, 1908 - Light frost
September 1908 - Drought - 0.78" of rain all month.
November 1, 1908 - Sleet or snow reported.
November 24, 1908 - High winds, heavy damage in Jefferson and Pleasant Townships
February 9, 1909 - Ice storm. Heavy damage to trees, shrubs, and telephone and telegraph lines
June 9-10, 1909 - High water damage.
September 22, 1909 - Barns and buildings destroyed by lightning-caused fires.
September 27, 1909 - Slight earthquake.
October 12, 1909 - Trace of snow, snow also on the 15th and 23rd
December 24-25, 1909 - 11" of snow fell
March 1910 - .02" of rain fell all month. Trace of snow.
May 31, 1910 - High winds, trace of snow.
June 1910 - .28" of rain
February 6, 1911 - 7" of snow
May 2, 1911 - Trace of snow
May 3, 1911 - Mr W S Palmer arrived in Fort Wayne to open and assume charge of the first official Fort Wayne Weather Bureau Station. Professor Marvin had earlier been in the city and selected the site of the office in Rooms 909 through 926 in the Shoaff Building at the corner of Berry and Calhoun Streets.
May 8, 1911 - Mr Herman T Collman arrived from Boston, Massachusetts as First Assistant.
May 20, 1911 - The first official observation was taken at 7am and telegraphed to Washington DC.
