Cooperative Agreements with...
CDC/NCIRD currently has a Cooperative Agreement with these organizations to forge new, and strengthen existing, partnerships with IIS stakeholders; promote the use of IIS as a standard practice in the delivery of health services, and educate stakeholders about the use and benefits of IIS. The American Immunization Registry Association (AIRA), in partnership with the CDC/NIP, is working on a new initiative directed at the analysis and improvement of immunization information system (IIS) operations. The MIROW of AIRA is formed to conduct this work. The goal of this effort is to produce, or grow, an IIS "Best Practice" guidebook for operationalizing registry functionality. The document, "Functional and Process Recommendations of the American Immunization Registry Association (AIRA) Vaccine Safety and Registry Community (VASREC) Workgroup" (exit) was the first developed out of the MIROW. - MOGE definition workshop (exit)
