Blanca B. Hise was appointed Director of the Department of Senior Affairs in September, 2004 by Mayor Martin J. Chavez. Blanca brings a strong commitment to senior services with her that was fine-tuned during her previous tenure at DSA, 1994-1997. Blanca attended the University of California at Los Angeles and received a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Fine Arts, from the University of New Mexico.
