Limited supplies and services are available at Fire Island National Seashore facilities. What you can’t find in the park should be readily available on Long Island and through private merchants within the neighboring communities. You should expect to pay higher prices for goods and services on Fire Island.

Did You Know?
The first Fire Island Lighthouse was built in 1826 on the western end of the island. Today, Fire Island Inlet is more than 5 miles west of this foundation.
