The Fort Collins Interagency Dispatch Center (FTC) is one of ten Interagency Dispatch Centers in the Rocky Mountain Area. The purpose of the FTC is to manage wildland fires and the mobilization of wildland firefighting resources in the Northern Front Range and Northeast Colorado. The Northern Colorado Front Range Wildfire Cooperators (NFRWC) Board of Directors is made up of representatives from the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests, Rocky Mountain National Park, the US Fish and Wildlife Service, the Colorado State Forest Service, Boulder County, Larimer County, the City of Boulder Fire Department, and Poudre Fire Authority. The NFRWC advises the FTC Interagency Dispatch Center on matters of wildland fire management and cooperation. Numerous Volunteer Fire Departments and Fire Protection Districts in the Northern Front Range and Northeast Colorado participate in local, regional, and national interagency wildland fire management through the FTC Zone Dispatch.
