Shepherd was preparing to participate in an underwater spacewalk simulation in the Hydrolab facility at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Russia. Shepherd was joined by cosmonaut Yuri Gidzenko (out of frame), Soyuz commander, in the underwater session. |
