U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission officials in Atlanta have announced the assignment of Thomas Fredette as a resident inspector at the Hatch nuclear power plant near Baxley, Gerogia.
Before joining the NRC, Fredette worked for Science Applications International Corporation as a senior engineer, an electrical systems engineer and a program manager. Fredette joined the NRC in May 1997 as a reactor engineer in the NRC's region office in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Fredette received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Old Dominion University and received additional training in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power Program.
Fredette joins NRC Senior Resident Inspector Bob Holbrook and Resident Inspector Jim Canady at the Hatch plant. The NRC inspectors at Hatch can be reached at 912-362-9881.
