Information for Business Leaders
Between now and 2015, as the Baby Boom generation retires, America will need between 10 and 15 million new workers. And one of the goals of the National Organization on Disability (NOD) is to increase employment opportunities for people with disabilities – a large potential workforce which is employed at dramatically lower rates than the non-disabled population.
Leading American corporations know it's ability, not disability, that counts. These companies recognize that it makes good business sense to include people with disabilities in their workforce. If your company shares our employment goals for people with disabilities, we urge you to join our corporate CEO Council. NOD helps CEO Council members explore and address disability as a workplace diversity issue, disability-related marketing issues, and even emergency planning for their employees with disabilities.
To learn more about joining NOD's CEO Council and the benefits of membership, visit www.nod.org/ceocouncil or call us at (202) 293-5960.
