Service Cheyenne on Friday July 14, 2006.  NWS Cheyenne
is staffed 24 hours a day.  There are 22 dedicated
and hard working people on our staff.  Our primary
mission in the National Weather Service is the
protection of life and property.  We are here to
serve you, our customers.

Assistant (ASA) at National Weather Service Cheyenne




Jim Hatten, Lead Forecaster, is pictured above.  He is working the day
shift rotation.   Jim has been at National Weather Service Cheyenne
since July 16, 1979.  He is using the Advanced Weather Interactive
Processing System (AWIPS). 

On this day, which was a Friday, Jim worked the long term rotation, and
forecasted the period from Sunday night the 16th through Friday the 21st. 



Kevin Daugherty, one of our five General Forecasters, is pictured
above.  Kevin also worked the day shift.

He worked the short term rotation, forecasting for Friday night the 14th
through Sunday the 16th.




Ray Gomez, the Information and Technology Officer (ITO), is
pictured above in his office.
