Record Cold Start at Laramie and Rawlins for June 8th

Record Low Temperatures for June 8th at Laramie Airport and Rawlins Airport

The record minimum temperature for June 8th at the Laramie airport was broken early this morning, as a much cooler than normal airmass followed Thursday’s strong cold frontal passage into southeast Wyoming. The previous record low for this date was 29 degrees, set back in 2002. Early this morning, the temperature at the Laramie Airport dropped to 24 degrees.


Rawlins bottomed out at 28 degrees this morning, breaking the previous record low of 30 degrees set in 1962.
