Severe Weather Likely this Afternoon and Evening

The atmosphere to the east of the Laramie Range...over southeast Wyoming and the western Nebraska panhandle will be moist and unstable this afternoon and evening.  A disturbance in the upper atmosphere will move over the region and will initiate storm development within the moist and unstable atmosphere.  The severe weather might actually start early in the afternoon near and just east of the Laramie Range and then spread east through the early evening.  The main weather threat will be large hail and damaging winds...but heavy rain and deadly lightning will also occur.  Also, be aware that a few of the storms may be able to produce a weak tornado.  Be safe...keep and eye to the sky and please report severe weather if and when it occurs.
