Weekend Outlook for Saturday June 2 and Sunday June 3, 2007

The upper level trough, or closed low, will move to southern Minnesota by Saturday evening with northwest flow aloft across Wyoming. Saturday will be dry and warmer.   On Sunday, northwest flow aloft will continue with a ridge aloft building across the Great Basin states.  Surface high pressure across southern Canada and low pressure across the four corners will keep north winds across southeast Wyoming and western Nebraska.  Dry weather will prevail on Sunday, except for isolated to scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms along and near the southern Laramie range.
